Job Summary:
Pinnacle Daily is seeking experienced and driven Reporters to join our team in Lagos and Abuja. We are looking for journalists with a proven track record of 3-7 years in their respective focus areas (Business, Politics, or Economy) to deliver compelling stories and contribute to our growing digital platform. You will be responsible for researching, investigating, and writing news articles, features, and analyses, while maintaining the highest standards of journalistic integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, Political Science, or a related field relevant to the specific focus area.
3-7 years of proven experience in reporting on Business, Politics, or Economy for a reputable news publication or digital platform in Nigeria.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian landscape in the relevant focus area (Business, Politics, or Economy).
Excellent writing, reporting, and interviewing skills.
Ability to analyze complex information and present it in a clear and accessible manner.
Commitment to ethical reporting and accuracy.
Familiarity with digital media platforms and online content creation.
Strong research and fact-checking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
A strong network of sources within the relevant industry or sector is highly desirable.
