Accountant at Colift Global Limited
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and other reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations
Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports for management
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
