Job Summary

The Business Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, ensuring efficient management of budgets, staff, and customer relations. The role involves coordinating promotional activities, managing apartment services, and maintaining high standards in guest satisfaction. 

Additionally, the Business Manager will be responsible for business development, staff training, and ensuring smooth operations within the apartment. 

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Oversee and manage the daily operations of the apartment complex, ensuring efficient service delivery and smooth functioning of all departments.

Ensure apartment maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of the grounds.

Supervise routine maintenance and liaise with contractors and suppliers for apartment repairs or renovations.

Manage apartment services such as laundry, housekeeping, and other guest amenities to ensure consistent high standards.

Implement the latest apartment technologies to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Budget and Financial Management

Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and allocation of resources.

Monitor and manage apartment expenses to ensure they are within the approved budget.

Maintain accurate statistical and financial records, providing reports on revenue, expenses, and other key performance indicators.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring all team members meet performance expectations and deliver high-quality services.

Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained.

Evaluate staff performance through regular appraisals and provide feedback for improvement.

Oversee the apartment staff training program, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Customer Service and Guest Relations

Greet and register guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Handle customer complaints, queries, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.

Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction, proactively addressing any concerns or needs of guests.

Interact with customers to build relationships and maintain brand loyalty, offering personalized services where possible.

Marketing and Promotions

Coordinate apartment promotions and marketing campaigns to attract guests and increase occupancy.

Develop and implement strategies to market the apartment complex to both individual customers and corporate clients.

Manage corporate bookings and events, ensuring they are executed smoothly and meet client expectations.

Event and Activity Management

Organize events and activities for guests, creating engaging experiences that enhance customer satisfaction.

Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure successful event execution.

Business Development

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.

Explore partnerships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other stakeholders to expand the customer base.

Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adjust business strategies accordingly.

Compliance and Quality Control

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, local laws, and apartment standards.

Regularly inspect apartment facilities and services to ensure quality control and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in hospitality, real estate, or apartment management.

Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and cost control.

Knowledge of the latest apartment technologies and hospitality industry trends
