Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance and Account Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance and accounts management within the Fintech industry, with expertise in taxes, financial trends and analysis, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
– Financial Management: Oversee and manage the company’s financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
– Accounts Management: Maintain and manage all financial records, ledgers, and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
– Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, and manage all tax-related matters, including compliance, planning, and audits.
– Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
– Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, statements, and projections to senior management and stakeholders.
– Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s financial stability and compliance.
– Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure financial integrity.
– Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support business objectives and provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
– Audits: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
– Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance and accounts management role, preferably within the Fintech industry.
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or relevant certification is highly desirable.
– Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, tax regulations, and risk management strategies.
– Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
– Software Proficiency: Proficient in financial software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
– Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
– Integrity: High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
