Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer with a medical background to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in procurement or a related field, along with a medical background or previous experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for medical supplies and equipment, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders.

• Ensure timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.

• Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, and replenish stock as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures throughout the procurement process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role, with a medical background or previous experience in a similar position.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Knowledge of procurement software and systems is a plus.
