Position : Procurement Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to manage our procurement activities, with a focus on fabrics selection and procurement. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
– Source and procure high-quality fabrics and materials
– Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
– Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers
– Conduct market research and analyze market trends
– Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, quality)
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
– Analyze and mitigate procurement risks
– Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient procurement strategies
Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry
– Proven experience in fabrics selection and procurement
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field
– Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is an advantage
– Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
– Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP, e-sourcing)
Desirable Skills:
– Knowledge of textile industry trends and market dynamics
– Experience with fabric testing and quality control
– Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures
– Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
